Drop earrings hang just below the earlobe. They are typically stationary.
Chandelier earrings are a type of dangle earrings with a shape that looks like a crystal chandelier. They're very narrow at the earlobe and then widen below. They are generally much larger than dangle earrings.
Huggie earrings wrap around the earlobe and curve behind it, attaching with a back latch. They are like mini hoop earrings, but thicker.
